The Australian Society for Medical Research is holding its 49th Annual Scientific Meeting within the AH & MR Congress.  The meeting will be held between Tuesday 16th November through to Thursday 18th November 2010.

Abstracts will be accepted from all  fields of medical research for inclusion in ASMR Free Communication Sessions (oral) and Poster Sessions.

ASMR Professional Development Day

"Steps to Success: The Key Ingredients to Running a Successful Research Group"
Monday 15th November, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, a satellite meeting of the AHMRCongress.

A one day workshop for postdoctoral researchers (1-12 years); learn how to construct a successful application for NHMRC and other fellowship schemes; and the “why and the how" to obtain a suitable mentor as a crucial factor in your career development.

Campion-Ma-Playoust Memorial Award
This award was instituted by a motion of the Annual General Meeting of the Society in December 1975. It consists of a cash award and a certificate which is presented for the best contribution for an oral and/or poster presentation to the Annual Scientific Meeting by a student member or a member under thirty years of age at the time of the Meeting. Please tick the relevant box on the abstract submission form if you wish to be considered.
