The Molecular and Experimental Pathology Society of Australasia is holding it's Annual Scientific Meeting within the AH & MR Congress.
Participation is open to both members and non-members and abstracts are accepted from both free communications and posters.
They will be participating on all three days of the Congress, Monday 17th, Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th.

We encourage all students who are MEPSA members who reside outside of the host city to apply for travel support to be able to attend the 2014 AHMRC meeting. In order to be eligible for travel support you need to be
(a) student enrolled in a higher degree (Honours, Masters or PhD) - at the time of submission,
(b) a financial member of MEPSA, and register for the meeting as a MEPSA member (if you are a member of another society you can also register as a member of that society as well),
(c) submitted an abstract for an oral presentation at the AHMRC,
(d) not reside in the conference host city - in 2014 this is Melbourne (Please note that students who are enrolled at tertiary institutions in rural Victoria are eligible to apply for travel support)
(e) attach a copy of your CV, and
(f) a covering letter outlining your reasons for attending the meeting.

Please note that the abstract deadline for oral presentations now close on 29 August 2014. The receipt of an award will be dependent upon acceptance of your abstract for presentation at the meeting.
This promises to be an exciting conference. Invited international speakers this year include Professors Molly Stevens (Plenary speaker), Martin Feelisch, Sean Grimmond, Helen Goodridge, Peter Wolf and Giuseppe Valacchi. The conference will include sessions on topics such as Photobiology, Photoimmunology, Skin cancer, Cancer and epigenetics, Vitamin D, Oxidative stress and disease, Nanoparticles and Health, Comparative Biology and Immunology. Additionally there are a large number of national speakers who have already indicated that they will attend, so there should be something there for everyone’s interest.

This award is given to a postgraduate student based on their oral presentation at the conference, more than one award may be given at a conference.
HK Muller Award
This award is given to a postdoctoral fellow based on their oral presentation at the conference. Please note that the society executive reserves the right not to make this award.Students will need to be in their final year of their PhD and not yet conferred.
This award is given to a member of the Society who presents the best poster at a conference. Please note that the society executive reserves the right not to make this award.
